GDW cardboard boxes illustrated by Takahashi

Cardboard boxes for storing Ginga Densetsu WEED mangas 1. edition, illustrated by Yoshihiro Takahashi.

There are 2 boxes, first one is for volumes 1-30 and second for volumes 31-60. As you can see, I bought two of each: the two at the top are for volumes 1-30, and the two at the bottom for volumes 31-60. They came folded, but were very easy to build. You only have to bend some edges, no cutting or glue needed.

Ah, I'm so in love with these boxes! <3 I just got them this morning, and can't stop staring at them or rolling them around to see them from every angle.



EDIT: At the cover of the box for volumes 31-60 there is Japanese text, and at the end of it there is GB's name in brackets. I got curious, searched around WEED-mangas, and found out that it's a sentence that GB said in volume one: "The world won't change, unless you change something in yourself before!" I've always thought that that's a very powerful message, one of my favourite ones in GDW, and to think that it's been chosed to be written in the box that contains the whole series, that's something I appreciate a lot.

There are some more Japanese text in the box for volumes 31-60, but they look to be more or less different praise for the readers of the series, like thanks and so on. Although, with the picture of dead GB there is text that says: "GB, shinnasete gomenna!!" Could this be Takahashi's apology that he killed GB in the series?

There is also some more complicated text with picture of Kyoushirou, but I can't make out what it says.
